I've been designing & making for over 20+ yrs, but it's always been my 'thing on the side'. Now in my late 40s, I've left my full time job to give my dreams of being a jeweller a proper go. I finally found my happy place!

Growing up on a smallholding and with a background in horticultural science and years spent as a garden designer and landscaper my passion has always been rooted in plants and natural wellbeing. I’m currently training as a Master Herbalist, deepening my knowledge to better support our community. I created this space not just to offer safe, reliable, and effective products, but to provide honest guidance in what can often feel like a confusing industry. The British seasons are where I draw my floral inspiration from. I create sustainable (no pesticides or plastic), natural arrangements from my own field flowers through April to November, and use British flowers the rest of the year. They can be personalised with homemade clay tags for that thoughtful touch.

I’m Mike Newman, a freelance photographer and filmmaker born and raised in Penzance. For over 20 years, my life and work have been shaped by the rhythm of the Atlantic. As a lifelong surfer and sea swimmer, I don’t just photograph the ocean; I live in it. My lens is constantly drawn to the raw, untamed energy of the West Cornwall coast, from the towering winter swells at Sennen Cove to the ethereal morning light over St Michael’s Mount.

I’m Natalie and I have been making pottery in Cornwall since 2001. I love colours and textures and am inspired by seascapes.

I make all sorts of functional ceramics on the potters wheel & by hand and love experimenting with different shapes. I make my own glazes, from very colourful ones to calm tones which enhance my speckled clays. I also use wild clay & sea glass to glaze my pots and love how they make every pot truly unique and create a strong connection with the various locations I found them.

Poochie Pals was inspired thanks to our love of Dogs, we started making Pom Pom Collars as accessories for Teddy & his cousin Bali. I hope my art helps people rediscover and appreciate the incredible wildlife right on our doorstep. I spend much of my time in the field, sketching and photographing subjects in their natural habitats to ensure every watercolor stroke captures the true essence of the species. Sustainability is at the heart of everything I do. I partner with local, eco-conscious manufacturers to bring my designs to life, and I take great pride in ensuring my packaging is entirely recyclable and plastic-free. For me, illustrating nature means protecting it too.

I am the grower and maker at Roots & Wild. I live in South East Cornwall with my wife Liz, Nigel our lurcher, Highland pony Morag, Dartmoor pony Matilda and last but not least, Sharon and Beyonce our chickens. I LOVE the outdoors. Whether that's on horse back or on my own two feet. We are regularly stomping around the coast path or forestry, looking for new inspiration. I was in the horse industry since my late teens but after some health issues, I decided to give it up and finally start the floristry business I always wanted to try in January 2024. I'm totally self taught. I used my small amount of savings to make my first order of dried flowers and have just grown from there.

I'm at my happiest when illustrating fun animal characters and I work digitally using scanned in textures I create using watercolour and acrylics. I live by the sea with my husband, 2 kids and rather lively cocker spaniel which all helps bring the joy to my work.
