All of the wool I sell is sourced from a family-run mill in Yorkshire and is of the highest credentials and quality. I try to make as small an environmental impact as possible with these products, so acrylic yarns and 'forever fibres' are a no-no. This is wool as it should be - biodegradable; washed, spun and dyed in the UK - and sold at an affordable price.

I specialise in traditional printmaking and am particularly drawn to the process of reduction prints, a method where I carve away portions of the lino, printing the block at intervals, and layering the one by one. I am influenced by the natural world and my place within it and am particularly drawn to the subject of water. I credit cold water swimming with reigniting my creative flame after a seven year career break and genuinely believe I owe everything to the water. I am proud to be completely plastic free!

I am the grower and maker at Roots & Wild. I live in South East Cornwall with my wife Liz, Nigel our lurcher, Highland pony Morag, Dartmoor pony Matilda and last but not least, Sharon and Beyonce our chickens. I LOVE the outdoors. Whether that's on horse back or on my own two feet. We are regularly stomping around the coast path or forestry, looking for new inspiration. I was in the horse industry since my late teens but after some health issues, I decided to give it up and finally start the floristry business I always wanted to try in January 2024. I'm totally self taught. I used my small amount of savings to make my first order of dried flowers and have just grown from there.
