I've been designing & making for over 20+ yrs, but it's always been my 'thing on the side'. Now in my late 40s, I've left my full time job to give my dreams of being a jeweller a proper go. I finally found my happy place!

The other day someone described my designs as an explosion of colour. I think that is pretty accurate! I love creating colourful pieces to bring joy to you and your home.

Inspired by the colours and shapes in nature, nostalgia and vintage pattern design, my ideas are brought to life through watercolour and digital painting before being developed into different design forms.

I’m Mike Newman, a freelance photographer and filmmaker born and raised in Penzance. For over 20 years, my life and work have been shaped by the rhythm of the Atlantic. As a lifelong surfer and sea swimmer, I don’t just photograph the ocean; I live in it. My lens is constantly drawn to the raw, untamed energy of the West Cornwall coast, from the towering winter swells at Sennen Cove to the ethereal morning light over St Michael’s Mount.

I love what I do because it brings me closer to nature. My inspiration comes from the incredible environments around us and my aim is to bring people closer to nature by showing them in a different light. I am passionate about sustainability o all my products are printed on recycled paper and all my garments are (excellent quality) secondhand to reduce environmental impact!

I am a multidisciplinary creative working across various sectors including Art, Illustration, Design, Animation, Ceramics, Education and more. I have lived and worked in Cornwall my whole life, and graduated from Falmouth University in 2015. I create a range of products that all encapsulate my joyful artistic style.

When crafting my collection I am mindful that every piece has a purpose in everyday life. I believe in the importance of using beautiful items during our daily rituals of cooking, dining and much more. Combined with a minimal and calm aesthetic achieved by my handmade white glaze and simple forms, my hope is that my collection brings joy into life's small moments.

Living by the Cornish coastline is a huge inspiration for my work. My work is made in small batches, with a focus on quality, consistency, and attention to detail. Kelpi Studio has allowed me to explore and express my love for the ocean and to share this with others. I love going out and exploring the coastline, particularly rock pools, to find new ideas for shape, form and colour which directly feed into my work. Being fuelled by the same source of inspiration, there is a playful synergy between my jewellery pieces and artwork reflecting the curious world of rock pools…

Hi, I’m Emma, the maker behind Klys Ceramics. I’ve been making wheel-thrown ceramics for almost six years from my little studio in Cornwall, using local clay. I’m inspired by the light and landscape around me, and I spend most days at the wheel playing with new ideas and seeing where they lead. I work with a mix of soft matte and more fluid glazes, enjoying the surprises that come out of the kiln.

Hey, I’m Lucy but you can call me Lu. Sometimes funny, always weird, I create art and other lushness from my home on the wild north coast of Cornwall. A mental health crisis forced me to reevaluate the important things in life. I quit my job, jumped in the sea, picked up a pencil and started to draw for the first time in over a decade. A riot of emotion, colour and love was born. Telling beautiful stories that celebrate the wild magic that lives inside you. In a world that too often tells women they are not good enough, not pretty or thin enough, I want to remind them they are a magnificent force of nature: As gorgeous as the setting sun, as breathtaking as a cold wave splashing your skin. I am inspired by finding a connection to nature, water, mental illness, empowerment and my home county of Cornwall. I hope that something in my work speaks to the wildness in you and maybe even makes you smile.

Everything is designed and made by me in Malpas, Cornwall My pieces are unique... glass is an amazing medium, the colour range is vast and beautiful. It's also completely weather proof meaning it can be displayed in or outdoors. I pride myself on not using any plastic in my products.

What I love about illustrating, and more recently nail art, is telling a story through one piece of art, finding a visual answer to a client's (or my!) idea. This usually all starts with a conversation to get to the heart of what someone wants - whether that's discussing what you love most about your Granny for a personalised illustrated card for her birthday, or what would make you smile every time you looked down at your nails that week. I then get stuck into the process - thumbnail sketches, researching and finding inspiration then bringing it all to life through drawing and choosing colour palettes.

I make all sorts of functional ceramics on the potters wheel & by hand and love experimenting with different shapes. I make my own glazes, from very colourful ones to calm tones which enhance my speckled clays. I also use wild clay & sea glass to glaze my pots and love how they make every pot truly unique and create a strong connection with the various locations I found them.

Poochie Pals was inspired thanks to our love of Dogs, we started making Pom Pom Collars as accessories for Teddy & his cousin Bali. Before long we were getting some really lovely comments from people both online and locally asking us where we got them from, so it only felt natural to create our little business so everyone could get the same enjoyment out of accessorising your dogs wardrobe with these stylish pompom collars / necklaces as we do!

I'm a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and author and I am endlessly inspired by my home county. I love using my designs to create fresh and joyful perspectives on Cornish places and culture.

I founded Salty Kit out of my lifelong love for the sea and the outdoors. As an avid paddleboarder, I grew frustrated with waterproof dry bags that were dull, corporate, and covered in huge logos. I am absolutely in love with the process of making a picture. I try to portray my emotions of energy from the Cornish landscape while conveying the sense of place and magic of my surroundings.
